Lotus Garden - Original Acrylic Paintings

Product Description

Each of these tranquil lotus paintings are original "one-of-a-kind" works of art painted and signed by renowned Thai artist, Udawn Srihawong. Mr. Srihawong is known for his Buddhist paintings and temple murals. Although similar, each painting has a different and unique composition making them one-of-a-kind but allowing them to work as a group wall hanging. The paintings depict the lotus in various stages of life; growing leaves, buds, opening flowers, fully open blossoms and the seed pod that contains new life, symbolizing the cycle of life from birth, growth, death, and re-birth. In many Asian cultures, the lotus is the symbol of Enlightenment. The seeds fall to the bottom of the pond, takes root in the murky dark mud, then grows up through the dark water to the bright surface of the pond where it opens to the full light of the sun. Hung as a single work of art or as a set of two, three, four, or five, the paintings evoke a sense of peace and harmony. 16" (h) X 14" (w). SCROLL DOWN TO ORDER.
